Version 2 · Effective October 20, 2026 · Middlesex Notary Co LLC d/b/a CIVIL CONSTABLE
This Electronic Communications Policy explains how Middlesex Notary Co LLC d/b/a CIVIL CONSTABLE (“CIVIL CONSTABLE,” “we,” “us”) provides records and notices electronically, and contains your consent to receive them. It is intended to satisfy the consumer-consent requirements of the federal Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (15 U.S.C. § 7001(c)) and the Massachusetts Uniform Electronic Transactions Act (G.L. c. 110G).
1. Scope of Consent
1.1 By agreeing to this Policy, you consent to receive the following records electronically, by email and through the client portal, for the duration of your relationship with CIVIL CONSTABLE:
- request confirmations, status updates and requests for information;
- quotes, service authorizations and the terms applicable to an assignment;
- invoices, receipts, payment confirmations, refund notices and payment reminders;
- returns of service, affidavits and completion records delivered to you;
- account notices, including sign-in links, verification codes and security alerts; and
- notices of changes to our policies and terms.
1.2 This consent governs how CIVIL CONSTABLE provides records to you. It does not change the manner in which documents must be served on other persons or filed with a court, which is governed by applicable law and court rules.
2. Hardware and Software Requirements
To access and retain electronic records you need:
- an email account to which you have access, configured to accept messages from notifications@notify.civilconstable.com and info@civilconstable.com;
- a current version of Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari with JavaScript and cookies enabled for this website;
- software capable of opening PDF files; and
- the ability to print or save records you wish to keep.
By agreeing electronically, you confirm that you can access records in these formats. If these requirements change in a way that creates a material risk that you will be unable to access or retain records, we will notify you of the revised requirements, and you may withdraw your consent without charge.
3. Paper Copies
You may request a paper copy of any record provided electronically by emailing info@civilconstable.com or calling 781-579-7462. Paper copies are provided at no charge.
4. Withdrawing Consent
You may withdraw this consent at any time by email or telephone. Withdrawal takes effect within a reasonable time after we receive it and does not affect the validity of records provided before it takes effect. After withdrawal, records required to be provided in writing will be sent by first-class mail. Because the client portal is an electronic service, future requests may need to be handled by mail and telephone.
5. Updating Contact Information
You may update your email address and telephone number in your portal settings or by notifying us. Records sent to the email address associated with your account or request are deemed delivered to you.
6. Types of Messages
